Toasted Red Pepper Chicken Sandwich Recipe
Recipe for Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Red Pepper Mayo
Ingredients:
- 2 thin slices of hearth bread
- 1 tablespoon of Dietz & Watson Sweet Red Pepper Mayo
- 3 large leaves of iceberg lettuce
- 2 thin slices of tomato
- 8 ounces of Dietz & Watson Honey Grilled Chicken
- 2 thin slices of Dietz & Watson Yellow Cheddar
- 2 pickle spears
Directions:
- Lightly toast the slices of bread until golden brown.
- Spread a small amount of Dietz & Watson Sweet Red Pepper Mayo on one slice of the toasted bread.
- Layer the sandwich in the following order: bread, lettuce, tomato, Honey Grilled Chicken, Yellow Cheddar, and finally, the second slice of bread.
- Top the sandwich with two pickle spears for an added crunch.
Cook's Note: If preferred, you can substitute Bibb lettuce for iceberg lettuce.
