Toasted Red Pepper Chicken Sandwich Recipe

Recipe for Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Red Pepper Mayo

Ingredients:

  • 2 thin slices of hearth bread
  • 1 tablespoon of Dietz & Watson Sweet Red Pepper Mayo
  • 3 large leaves of iceberg lettuce
  • 2 thin slices of tomato
  • 8 ounces of Dietz & Watson Honey Grilled Chicken
  • 2 thin slices of Dietz & Watson Yellow Cheddar
  • 2 pickle spears

Directions:

  1. Lightly toast the slices of bread until golden brown.
  2. Spread a small amount of Dietz & Watson Sweet Red Pepper Mayo on one slice of the toasted bread.
  3. Layer the sandwich in the following order: bread, lettuce, tomato, Honey Grilled Chicken, Yellow Cheddar, and finally, the second slice of bread.
  4. Top the sandwich with two pickle spears for an added crunch.

Cook's Note: If preferred, you can substitute Bibb lettuce for iceberg lettuce.
