Quick Grilled Chicken Breast

Ingredients

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 pinch salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions

Step 1: Preheat an outdoor grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grate.

Step 2: Lightly coat each chicken breast with olive oil.

Step 3: Sprinkle each side of the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Rub the spices evenly to coat the chicken.

Step 4: Place the chicken on the preheated grill. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, flipping each breast only once halfway through. The chicken is ready when it is no longer pink in the center, and the juices run clear. You can use an instant-read thermometer to check the internal temperature aim for 165F (74C).
