I made some tweaks to a recipe and created a dish that my husband loved so much he asked me to make it again soon. I used a can of chicken broth, 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning, added water to just cover the chicken, and simmered for about 15 minutes. While this was cooking, I partially cooked the bacon until it was about halfway done, leaving it flexible enough to wrap around each chicken breast. Then, I baked it all at 375 degrees F for 14-15 minutes until perfectly cooked. Served with a side of rice, it was a delicious meal.

Absolutely delicious! Even my fussy kids couldn't resist it. I sprinkled some Swiss cheese in the final 10 minutes and there wasn't a single bite left. This recipe is definitely a keeper, I'll be sharing it with friends for sure!

We thoroughly enjoyed this dish! The only issue I encountered was trying to cook the bacon and chicken simultaneously. ??
