This was absolutely delicious. My whole family enjoyed this recipe. In order to add to the pizza soup experience I used ground beef and pork, in addition to the Italian sausage. I also added salami. I didn't have any green bell peppers so I used sweet mini peppers and since we like lots of spices, I added diced jalapeños as well. I also added freshly chopped tomatoes in addition to the crushed boxed tomatoes and sliced portobello mushrooms. I made creamy homemade polenta to act as a crust to be served with the soup as well as Two Ingredients Garlic Knots. The soup was then topped with fresh mozzarella, parmesan, gourmet olives, and mixed greens. It tasted just like a pizza. This well be added to my menu rotation.

Adjusted the recipe a bit, didn’t add any veggies, but swapped pizza sauce for tomato paste and added an extra cup of broth! So good!!
