Ingredients
- 4 whole graham crackers, crushed
- 2 cups no-bake cheesecake filling mix
- 1 cup caramel dip (such as Marzetti Caramel Dip)
- 1 1/2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
- 1/2 cup roasted salted peanuts, coarsely chopped
- Sliced apples, pretzel crisps or twists, graham crackers, and/or vanilla wafers for serving
Directions
- Start by placing the graham cracker crumbs at the bottom of a pie plate or deep serving dish. Spread them out evenly to form a base layer.
- Carefully spoon the cheesecake filling over the graham cracker crumbs, being cautious not to mix them into the filling. Spread the filling evenly for a smooth layer.
- Microwave the caramel dip for about 10 seconds to soften it slightly. Once warmed, spread the caramel dip evenly over the cheesecake filling.
- Top the caramel layer with whipped topping, spreading it evenly to cover the entire surface. Sprinkle the chopped peanuts evenly over the whipped topping.
- For best results, freeze the dessert for about 10 minutes before serving, allowing it to set. Alternatively, you can refrigerate it until you're ready to serve.
- Serve the cheesecake dip with sliced apples, pretzel crisps, graham crackers, or vanilla wafers for dipping. Enjoy!

The Story Behind Caramel Apple Cheesecake Dip
The Caramel Apple Cheesecake Dip is a modern twist on classic American fall desserts, combining the beloved flavors of apple, caramel, and cheesecake into a shareable, easy-to-make dish. Its origins are rooted in seasonal gatherings in the United States, particularly around autumn when apple orchards are at their peak and caramel treats become a household favorite. The dish likely evolved from the popularity of caramel apples and traditional cheesecake, merging them into a convenient dip that can be enjoyed without baking.
Regional Variations and Specialties
While this dessert is widely enjoyed across the U.S., regional adaptations exist. In the Northeast, some versions incorporate local apples such as Honeycrisp or McIntosh for a tart balance, while Southern adaptations often include a sprinkle of pecans instead of peanuts, adding a local nutty flavor. The West Coast may favor lighter whipped toppings and low-sugar caramel dips to appeal to health-conscious palates, demonstrating how this dessert adapts to regional tastes without losing its essential charm.
How It Differs from Similar Desserts
Unlike traditional caramel apples, which are eaten individually, the Caramel Apple Cheesecake Dip allows multiple people to enjoy the flavor in a communal setting. Compared to regular cheesecake, it does not require baking, making it quicker to prepare and more versatile for casual gatherings. Unlike apple crisps or pies, it combines crunchy elements like graham crackers and pretzels with creamy cheesecake and sweet caramel, offering a layered texture experience that sets it apart from single-texture desserts.
Where Youll Typically Find It
