This was very good! It did not take long for the kids to make this disappear.

This recipe was simple to make. We did make a couple additions to it. We added 1\2 cup of heavy cream and the juice of a lemon wedge. This not only thinned the mixture out a bit it gave the fruit dip a fresh taste. Everyone loved it. We served it with pineapple spears, apple wedges, pear slices and mandarin orange wedges. The addition of this dip made our spring luncheon a big hit.

I think it was really good! though, beating it took quite a long time so I instead started with an already whipped cream cheese and it tasted the same. I've made it around 3 times, and could probably say it could use a little less sugar, (if its not your thing, that is) it's very sweet.

Made this quickly with the 3 ingredients, but did think it a bit sweet, so I added about 1/2 of a 6 oz. vanilla yogurt to the recipe and it made it much more palatable and "less stiff".. Disappeared quickly. Served with strawberries, blueberries and blackberries.

I use this as a base for frosting for fruit breads banana, apple, and pumpkin for the holidays. I add 1/4 cup of browned butter and 1/2 cup of powdered sugar and a teaspoon of cinnamon and that takes this to the top!

After reading the reviews I used about 3/4 cup brown sugar instead of the full cup. It turned out AWESOME!! It got rave reviews at my family picnic and I am definitely going to make this again!!

I took one viewers advise and used less sugar. I used 1/2 a cup of sugar and that was plenty. A cup would have been too sweet for my taste. Other than that, the dip was delicious - better than store bought!

Very tasty but a bit too sweet. Next time I will cut back on the brown sugar. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

You can substitute powdered sugar for brown sugar if (like me) you're not a big fan of brown sugar. If you want a more whipped dip then after mixing the ingredients fold in some whipped cream. I use a little less powdered sugar with this because whipped cream is very sweet.

We made waffle bowls for breakfast with this as a filler and added bananas and strawberries. We have a diabetic in the house, so I used less than half the sugar and my family loved it!

Just made this as a breakfast for my family as an lighter option since we're about to start the cooking fest for Thanksgiving with a lot of rich foods. I used reduced fat whipped cream cheese, 1/4 cup of dark brown sugar instead of the 1 cup (which seemed to be a lot to me), 2 tsp of vanilla, and 1 tblspn of heavy cream to help with texture. It turned out really good with just enough sweetness to offset the green apples, strawberries, and blueberries we had. It wasn't gritty at all and was very fluffy. My daughter loved it and asked if this can be breakfast every morning! That's high praise in our house.

Next time I would cut the brown sugar in half, and add 1/3 more cream cheese. The flavour is good, just way too sweet.

I made this for a baby shower. Everyone raved about it! Some were even eating it with a spoon! The only change I made was sprinkling a little brown sugar on top for looks.

I started with whipped cream cheese, added somehwat less brown sugar than it calls for, and brought it to a potluck with a tray of fresh fruit. My wife never lets me make a dressing for fruit salad; she set up the fruit and went out for a few hours. She was surprised by the accompanying dip, and I didn't notice her trying it (though we have some left over and she may yet). But several people enjoyed it, and a few had quite a bit. Plus, it's very easy!
