Game Day Jalapeno Cheese Dip Recipe

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound bulk spicy pork sausage
- 2 pounds American cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 (4 ounce) can canned diced green chiles, drained
- 1 (4 ounce) can canned diced jalapeno peppers, drained
Directions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and sausage over medium-high heat. Make sure to stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- Once browned, drain the excess fat from the meat mixture.
- Add the 1-inch cubes of American cheese to the skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the cheese has fully melted into the meat mixture.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, diced green chiles, and jalapeno peppers. Mix thoroughly to combine all the ingredients evenly.
- Transfer the dip mixture to a slow cooker and set it to Low heat. Let it cook and stay warm for serving.
