Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 6 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream (or more to taste)
- cup salted butter, cubed
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Directions:
- Place the peeled and cubed potatoes into a large pot. Cover with salted water and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and transfer them to a bowl.
- Add the heavy cream, butter, salt, and black pepper to the potatoes. Mix until smooth and creamy. Adjust the cream to achieve your desired level of creaminess.
