Maple Glazed Tofu Recipe

Maple Pineapple Tofu
Ingredients
- cup maple syrup
- cup pineapple juice
- 2 tablespoons brown mustard
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 (8 ounce) firm tofu, drained and cubed
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
Directions
- In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, pineapple juice, brown mustard, and soy sauce (if using). Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the cubed tofu to the skillet and cook, stirring frequently, until the tofu is evenly browned.
- Pour in the maple syrup mixture and stir well to coat the tofu.
- Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the glaze has thickened and reduced.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving (optional).
