This was delicious! Cooking your own chicken makes it even more delectable because you can season it and let it sit in the seasonings for a while beforehand. If you have to cook everything anyways, I sautéed my potatoes in the same cast iron skillet since the bacon fat, chicken, and whatever veggies put in made the pan dirty anyways. Put the stuff back into the pan to throw in the oven too. Very easy to make a one-pan dinner. Throw in a handful of leafy greens right after turning the pan off for the last thing you need to cook/brown and it wilts everything just right! Highly recommend!

I’ve made this quite a few times. Always a favorite. That said… I add probably double the ranch seasoning mix. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great the way it is. We just prefer a stronger ranch flavor. I also use a good quality bacon and use thick cut.
