Apple Pie Pops
These delicious apple pie pops are a fun twist on a classic dessert. With a flaky crust and warm, sweet filling, theyre perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 (9 inch) prepared pie crust
- 4 tablespoons apple pie filling
- 12 cake-pop sticks
Directions
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400F (200C).
Step 2: Roll the pie crust out on a lightly floured surface. Use a circular cookie cutter or a glass to cut out twenty-four 2 1/2-inch rounds.
Step 3: Transfer twelve of the rounds to a baking sheet.
Step 4: Lay one cake-pop stick on each round, with one end of the stick almost at the center of the round. Gently press the stick into the dough.
Step 5: Spoon about 1 teaspoon of apple pie filling into the center of each round.
Step 6: Place the remaining dough rounds on top of each pop. Use a fork to press the edges together, sealing the filling inside.
Step 7: Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is hot.
Cooks Note
You can substitute the apple pie filling with any pie filling of your choice for a different flavor.
