I whipped up these treats while chatting with a friend, and they came together surprisingly quickly (maybe a couple of beers helped with that perception!) The flavor is outstanding. I followed the recipe exactly, except for omitting the nuts due to my boyfriend's allergy. No frosting required! I dusted them with powdered sugar for a nice finishing touch. They were a hit with everyone and I can attest that they still taste delicious days later. Update: I made these with "assistance" from my 5-year-old and they were still a hit! Also, I substituted 1/4 cup margarine and 3/4 cup light butter with canola oil without affecting the taste or texture.

Fantastic recipe! I followed the suggestion to reduce the flour to 1 cup, resulting in brownies that were less cake-like and more to my taste. I also stirred in 1 cup of coconut flakes and 1/2 cup of chopped pecans, giving them a delicious twist reminiscent of German Chocolate Cake. Despite my tendency to tweak recipes, this one turned out wonderfully. Thank you for a great recipe!

Rewritten review: These brownies were absolutely fantastic! They were quick and easy to make, with minimal mess. I used only one cup of flour, which turned out to be just enough (lucky me!), resulting in wonderfully chewy and moist brownies - exactly how I like them. I also added 1/4 cup of walnuts, which added a great crunch; I wish I had added more because they were a perfect complement to the brownies. I will definitely be making these again! Update: I made these brownies a second time and forgot to mention that I included 1 1/2 cups of white sugar, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, a tablespoon of instant coffee, used 3 eggs instead of four, and increased the cocoa to 2/3 cup to enhance the chocolate flavor both times. Baking for 25 minutes resulted in soft and chewy brownies that were absolutely delicious.

The only addition I made was 2 teaspoons of instant espresso powder because I love how it enhances the chocolate flavor. I bake these regularly as brownie bites in lightly oiled mini muffin/cupcake trays. These are AMAZING and so simple to make!!!! It yields 84 mini brownies.

The recipe is great just the way it is, resulting in a texture more like cake than fudge. I swapped out the nuts for chocolate chips and baked them in a "brownie" cupcake pan, yielding 12 individual square treats. They were ready in about 25 minutes, no need for any cutting - just grab and enjoy! No frosting necessary, and they were a hit!

Review rewritten: Instead of walnuts, I decided to enhance my brownies by adding a cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Once the batter was poured into the pan, I topped it with a cream cheese mixture that truly elevated the brownies to a new level. The cream cheese topping consisted of 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup of sugar, 1 egg, and a pinch of vanilla extract. Mixing these ingredients in a separate bowl and swirling it into the brownie batter created a decadent treat that was absolutely delightful. Highly recommend trying this variation!

I prefer my brownies to be around half an inch thick, so I utilize a larger baking pan for that. I enjoy a less fudgy texture, so this recipe fits the bill perfectly. By reducing the cocoa powder to a quarter cup and opting for a bag of milk chocolate chips (11.5 oz), I achieved the desired consistency. I melted the chips with the butter in the microwave for 2 minutes on medium-high. Thank you for providing such a fantastic recipe. P.S. I omitted the nuts.

Simple recipe that produces a wonderfully moist and fudgy result. I made a few substitutions to the original recipe, such as using 1/4 cup of oil in place of one egg due to running out of eggs. I also added some semi-sweet chocolate chips on top as I didn't have any walnuts on hand. Baked for precisely 20 minutes at 335 degrees Fahrenheit because my oven runs hot. The texture of the brownies can be adjusted from cake-like to fudgy depending on the cooking time, so it's essential to be attentive to the baking duration if that's crucial for you.

This brownie recipe is truly the best I've ever tried. The end result was absolutely amazing. I decided to skip the walnuts and instead melted peanut butter and chocolate together using a double boiler, then drizzled it on top of the brownies. The outcome was incredible! The brownies were incredibly moist, rich, and delicious.

I substituted walnuts with 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and enhanced the flavor with 1 tablespoon of instant coffee grounds.

Great recipe! I adjusted the measurements by half and substituted 1/4 cup of natural applesauce for the 2 eggs. I also included some macadamia nuts from Hawaii and chocolate chips. The result was absolutely delicious!

Incorporated semi-sweet chocolate chips, hefty walnuts, and drizzled with caramel on top. Ghirardelli doesn't stand a chance against this.

I absolutely loved the Cosmic Brownies I made! Instead of walnuts, I used Reese's Pieces, and they were incredibly delicious!

I tried following the recipe to the letter. It ended up taking more than an hour to bake. The taste was good, but it was way too sweet and had a cake-like texture. The instructions could have been more detailed. After researching brownie fails online, I found out that the number of eggs used matters, the mixing steps are crucial, and how to achieve a glossy crackly top. Despite these issues, I plan to make it again but with my own modifications.

I decided to whip up a batch of these brownies today, and I have to say I was quite satisfied with both the taste and how easy they were to make. The recipe was straightforward – I mixed all the ingredients in just one bowl, adding them one by one. I opted to make a half batch and used a smaller 9x9 inch pan for baking. When I tried to remove the brownies from the pan, they crumbled a bit, but that was totally my fault for impatiently cutting into them too soon. The crispy edges and soft, fudgy inside were exactly how I like my brownies. I followed the recipe closely, except I didn't have any walnuts, so I tossed in a handful of milk chocolate chips into the batter and sprinkled some on top along with colored sprinkles. The end result was absolutely delicious!

Simple yet took a bit longer in the oven than expected, but the end result was still delicious and worth it. Easy to prepare and definitely worthy of a recommendation. 100% would recommend.
