Mini Strawberry Santas Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate sprinkles

Directions

  1. Cut the hulled strawberries so they can stand up on a plate. Slice the tip off each strawberry to create Santa's "hat" and set them aside.
  2. In a glass or metal bowl, beat the heavy cream and confectioners' sugar together until soft peaks form. When you lift the beater or whisk straight up, the whipped cream will form soft mounds.
  3. Spoon a large dollop of whipped cream on top of the strawberry base to form the "face" and "beard".
  4. Place the "hat" on top of the "face".
  5. Using a toothpick, add a small dot of whipped cream on top of the "hat" to create the "pom-pom". Also, add two dots on the strawberry base to make "buttons".
  6. For the "eyes", place two chocolate sprinkles on the "face".
