4 hours is more than enough time. It is recommended to stir it every half-hour to prevent tapioca bead clumps. The end result was amazing! I will definitely be making it regularly in the near future.

My husband absolutely loves tapioca pudding. He once devoured a large can that his friends gifted him for his birthday. Cooking it on the stove always seemed to take forever, and it would often end up sticking to the bottom anyway. I decided to try making it in the slow cooker, stirring it every 30 minutes or so, and it turned out perfectly smooth and easy! No more scrubbing pans for me - I'm thrilled with the result! Happy happy!

I followed the recipe exactly as it was written. I ended up cooking it for only 2 hours on low instead of the recommended time. The taste was decent, but I was not impressed with the texture. The tapioca's signature texture was missing entirely. It could pass as a regular vanilla pudding, but if you're expecting tapioca, you might be disappointed. Considering there are plenty of great pudding recipes available, I don't think I'll be making this one again.

I tried making half of the recipe, but it still turned out to be quite a large portion. There weren't enough pearls in it, and the drink was too milky and eggy, making it difficult to find the pearls. Perhaps adding more or larger pearls would improve the overall taste and experience.

So simple yet incredibly tasty. I elevate mine by using real vanilla beans. A luxurious touch indeed! ??

Excellent!! Every slow cooker works differently. Mine was ready in about 4 hours. The dish turned out incredibly creamy and delicious, and it was so easy to make. Remember to stir it every half hour to an hour to prevent clumps from forming. I will definitely be making this again. I personally enjoy it warm, while my husband likes it cold, but it's so tasty that I'll happily eat it either way.
