Easy Two-Ingredient Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe
This two-ingredient peanut butter fudge recipe seems almost too good to be true, but trust us: The sweet, creamy, and rich results it produces every time are very real.
Ingredients
- 1 (18 ounce) jar peanut butter (creamy, not chunky)
- 1 (12 ounce) whipped cream cheese frosting
Directions
Step 1: Gather all the ingredients. You'll need peanut butter and whipped cream cheese frosting.
Step 2: Line an 8-inch square pan with waxed paper and set it aside.
Step 3: In a microwave-safe bowl, spoon in the peanut butter and the whipped cream cheese frosting.
Step 4: Heat the mixture in the microwave on high for 30 seconds. Afterward, stir the mixture thoroughly, then heat for another 30 seconds. Stir again until completely blended.
Step 5: Pour the smooth mixture into the prepared baking pan.
Step 6: Refrigerate for about 1 hour, or until the fudge is fully set and chilled.
Step 7: Once chilled, cut the fudge into bite-sized squares and enjoy!
How to Store
Since this recipe includes cream cheese frosting, its best to store the fudge in the refrigerator. Keep it in an airtight for up to 2 weeks.

I made it with Duncan Hines keto vanilla frosting, and chunky natural peanut butter, just peanuts and salt, no oils. And it tastes store bought from a fudge shop.

I used one 28-oz jar of Jif peanut butter and split it between a can of cream cheese frosting and a can of chocolate fudge frosting. I didn't use the whipped version for either, but both batches turned out beautifully. My whole family loved them! I love fudge but frequently don't get it right with regular recipes. This is going to be my go-to from now on. Delicious!

This peanut butter fudge is fast and easy to make and reminds me of the fudge my grandmother used to cook on the stovetop but without all the work. I buy the larger jars of peanut butter, so to make it easier to measure I just empty the frosting container first then fill it with peanut butter (I use 16 oz. of both peanut butter and frosting). The smaller the pan you use, the thicker the fudge will be. I look forward to trying the tips and variations mentioned in the other reviews.

This simple recipe is a breeze to make and clean up is a snap. Works great if you are vegan/have a milk allergy and nut allergies by using a jar of alternative "butter" like from soy nuts or sunflower seeds (I used Wow butter) and a dairy-free can of cream cheese frosting (I used a famous brand in the white can that starts with a "P"). Turned out great and helps me to not feel too left out during the holidays at the dessert table. It is not meant to be a nutritious daily health food but an occasional much-needed treat.

I have made this candy for years. However I do use a container of vanilla cake frosting for that smooth creamy taste. 1 jar peanut butter. 1 plastic container of vanilla frosting. Melt in microwave in their containers and mix well. Pour in wax paper lined dish to set up in frig. Cut, eat.

I used Pillsbury vanilla frosting and Jiff peanut butter and it was delicious. It is creamy and melts in your mouth. I think I will use nutty peanut butter next time, just for a little crunch.

I love this recipe, found it last year and made several batches. I use about a half a cup of crunchy and the rest creamy peanut butter. This works great.

I used natural peanut butter ( nothing added, just peanuts) as that’s all I buy. It didn’t get hard so I frozen it. I also added peanuts to cut down on the sweetness. Good peanut flavour and with the natural peanut butter, not too sweet. May try with chocolate frosting next.

It was quite strong with the peanut butter taste very simple to do. The sweetness did not come through. Sadly won’t be doing again in our house. Method is simple though. Our chickens loved this though.

We love that we can change the frosting flavor. I love the cream cheese, but my son loves the milk chocolate with chunky peanut butter.
