All the recipes I've sampled from Chef John have been fantastic, but this one, oh my goodness, it's absolutely amazing! I'm currently making it for the third time, and let me tell you, after the first two times, there was an extra 5 pounds of love to go around! Haha. Review rewritten: The flavor was delicious, however, the consistency was not as we anticipated. We noticed ice crystals in the ice cream, which was unexpected.
