Quick and Easy Cinnamon Roll Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 (12.4 ounce) packages refrigerated cinnamon roll dough with icing
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • cup maple syrup
  • cup brown sugar

Directions

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375F (190C). Open the cinnamon roll packages and set the icing packets aside.

Step 2: Cut the cinnamon roll dough into -inch cubes and arrange them evenly at the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Step 3: Pour the melted butter over the dough pieces and toss gently to coat. Spread them out into a single, even layer.

Step 4: In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, eggs, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract until well combined. Pour this mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll dough in the baking dish.

Step 5: Drizzle the maple syrup over the top of the dough mixture and sprinkle with brown sugar.

Step 6: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 22 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the dough is fully cooked through.

Step 7: Once baked, drizzle the included icing over the top and serve immediately.

Cook's Note

You can substitute milk for the heavy cream if preferred.
