My husband and I absolutely loved these wings! They were incredibly delicious. Instead of coating the wings with the sauce, I brushed them generously with the sauce while grilling. They turned out amazing. I saved some extra sauce for dipping. The only change I'll make next time is to skip the salt, as it was a bit too salty for my taste. The hot sauce already adds enough saltiness. I might also skip the butter next time, as the honey is sweet enough and cutting out unnecessary fat. I will definitely be making these again soon! **Update: Scratch that, don't skip the butter...it's way too spicy without it!

I absolutely adored this recipe! I went all out by using orange blossom honey generously. For seasoning, I opted for garlic powder and added a hint of cayenne pepper. I let the wings marinate for 30 minutes before brushing them with honey and placing them in a preheated 425-degree oven on a nonstick foil-lined baking pan. After 20 minutes, I flipped the wings, drizzled more honey, and continued baking. The final touch was coating the wings with a mix of hot sauce, butter, and honey before giving them a final bake for 5-10 minutes. While I could have added a bit more heat, these wings turned out incredibly delicious!

Residing in Michigan, we simply had to give these a try. I opted for boneless, skinless chicken thighs and the result was absolutely delightful. After seasoning and searing them in a pan, I transferred the thighs to a baking dish and covered them with the entire blend of ingredients. Thirty minutes in the oven, and voila - a mouthwatering dish was born! The entire family adored these chicken thighs, and we found ourselves unable to resist indulging in seconds. A big thank you for sharing this fantastic recipe! It's definitely going on our regular menu rotation!

Honey pairs amazingly well with hot sauce! I seasoned my wings with a blend of cayenne pepper, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder, letting them marinate for an hour. Since I don't have a grill, I baked the wings at 300 degrees until they were tender and golden. Before baking, I coated the wings with a generous amount of hot sauce, then continued to baste them while cooking. For the sauce, I melted half the recommended amount of butter in a saucepan, added half the amount of honey, and mixed in Frank's Red Hot sauce along with some additional cayenne pepper for extra heat. After thickening the sauce on the stove, I drizzled it over the chicken before baking and saved some to add at the end. The result was a perfect balance of spicy and sweet – absolutely delicious! Thank you for sharing this recipe!

My wife absolutely loved these wings, declaring them the best I've ever made. Instead of brushing the wings with honey, I prepared a delicious sauce. When the wings were close to being done, I coated them in the sauce in a bowl, similar to how you would toss buffalo wings. Then, I returned them to the grill at a low temperature to finish them off. The result was a perfect balance of sauce and chicken flavor, with just the right amount of kick. By using half the amount of butter the recipe called for, the sauce turned out slightly thicker, which we enjoyed. I will definitely be making these again very soon!

I recently tried making chicken wings with a new twist, and they turned out to be the best I've ever had! I added a 12oz bottle of honey to give them a sweet flavor, and a little extra cayenne pepper for some heat. I cooked them in the oven at 425 degrees for about 45 minutes. Instead of just basting the wings with honey at the beginning, I mixed it all together and basted them throughout the entire cooking process. Just be cautious as honey can easily burn. My family absolutely loved them, and this will definitely be my new go-to chicken wings recipe.

My husband and I loved this recipe! I followed it to the letter. If I were to make a change, I would opt for grilling the wings instead of serving them "wet." Alternatively, if serving them wet, I would heat the sauce on the stovetop and add a bit of cornstarch-water mixture to thicken it so that it adheres better to the wings. I can't wait to make this again!

Just the right balance of sweet and spicy! I decided to make a larger batch and included a cup of BBQ sauce for that extra smoky flavor. I reduced the butter by half for the doubled portion. Due to the rainy weather, I baked them in the oven at 450 degrees for 40 minutes. These wings surpassed any from a pizza place and can even compete with popular wing chains.

Amazingly delicious wings! I seasoned them with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne, then baked them at 425 degrees for approximately 40 minutes until they were perfectly crispy. I skipped basting them with honey during the cooking process. Instead, I mixed the sauce ingredients, tossed the wings in it after cooking, and popped them back into the oven for a few minutes to let the sauce caramelize...and it turned out perfectly! My family couldn't stop raving about them...I will definitely be making these again~YUM! Thank you for sharing. :)

Review Rewritten: The sauce was absolutely fantastic! While tailgating, I decided to experiment by combining this recipe with my usual way of making wings. I marinated the wings in Frank's Louisiana Hot Sauce for a few hours, then seasoned them with cayenne, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder mixed with flour before deep frying them. Once they were crispy, I drizzled honey on them and grilled them as per the recipe. Tossed in the delicious sauce made exactly to the recipe's specifications, they turned out to be amazing. My husband adored them, and even some fellow tailgaters we didn't know complimented them and asked for the recipe. The perfect crispness from frying and grilling, combined with the sweet and spicy sauce, made these wings a huge hit. I will definitely be making them again!

I followed this recipe as instructed, but decided to cook them in the air fryer. It was a simple recipe to follow. Personally, I prefer my wings spicier, but both adults and kids enjoyed these wings. They had just the right amount of heat, a subtle kick that appealed to everyone. I will definitely be making these again.

I tried baking these wings in the oven, but the honey burnt almost immediately, which ended up ruining them.

Rewritten review: "We were craving wings similar to Native's honey hot variety and stumbled upon this recipe - it was fantastic! We used Red Devil hot sauce, store brand honey (since it was on sale), and the whole family loved it! Even the kids enjoyed it. We highly recommend following the recipe's instructions to baste the honey on the wings after cooking - it's a game-changer. I followed the recipe to the letter and these wings have now become a household favorite instead of ordering from Native New Yorker. Thank you for sharing this recipe - give it a try, you won't be disappointed!"

I enjoy spicy food, so I was eager to give this a try. However, the suggestion to add more than 1 tsp of cayenne pepper made me skeptical. It usually takes a lot to impress me in terms of heat, so I tripled the cayenne pepper, but surprisingly, it didn't turn out to be very spicy. Nevertheless, the dish was absolutely delicious. I particularly loved the sauce. Perhaps next time I'll experiment with using Dave's Insanity Sauce to see if I can bring out more heat in it.
