Air Fryer Pizza Bombs Recipe
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Pizza Biscuits
This easy air fryer recipe brings together the flavors of pizza and the crispy, flaky texture of biscuits. A perfect quick snack or meal for pizza lovers.
Ingredients
- 1 (19 ounce) can Southern-style flaky refrigerated biscuits (such as Pillsbury Grands)
- 32 slices pepperoni
- 16 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese
- 8 tablespoons spaghetti sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350F (175C). Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper and spray the paper with non-stick cooking spray.
- Open the can of biscuits and separate the dough into 8 pieces. Flatten each piece into a 6-inch round disc.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of spaghetti sauce on each disc, leaving a 1/4-inch border around the edge.
- Top each sauce-covered biscuit with 2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella cheese and 4 slices of pepperoni, overlapping them slightly.
- Fold up the sides of each biscuit, pinching the dough together at the top to seal it in a pouch-like shape.
- Place the prepared biscuits into the air fryer basket, with the sealed side facing down. Brush the tops with melted butter.
- Cook the biscuits in the air fryer for 4 to 6 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
- Flip each biscuit over and brush with the remaining melted butter. Continue cooking for an additional 3 to 5 minutes, until the other side is also golden brown and crispy.
Cook's Notes
If you're using an air fryer oven, you can fit all 8 biscuits in the basket. For smaller air fryers, you may need to cook the biscuits in batches. Keep in mind that air fryers vary in temperature, so adjust cooking times as needed.
