I have grilled these pineapple slices twice now and they were absolutely delicious both times! The first time, I added 2 teaspoons of vanilla along with cinnamon and brown sugar, then added water for a thinner consistency. The second time, I reduced the amount of cinnamon as I'm not a huge fan, and skipped adding water altogether. Surprisingly, the water wasn't necessary at all. Both times, the grilled pineapple turned out amazing. We topped it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and it was simply delightful! The pineapple was incredibly sweet and juicy, making it my favorite dessert.

Delicious! I suggest reducing the amount of sugar and cinnamon by half as the sweetness of the pineapple itself is usually sufficient. Also, consider baking it in the oven at 350°F instead of grilling it - it caramelizes much nicer that way!

Absolutely loved this recipe! It turned out fantastic! I marinated the pineapple in a bag for a few hours before grilling it on medium heat for around 10 to 15 minutes. I made sure to turn the pineapple every couple of minutes while grilling. The result was simply delicious!

I decided to add just under a 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper to the sugar cinnamon mixture and the result was fantastic! It gave a nice touch of sweet and spicy heat!

Fantastic mix of flavors and incredibly simple to make. Skip the disposable plastic bag and opt for a bowl instead for an eco-friendly option.

I smoked it for about 1 hour at 200 degrees using wild cherry wood on the second attempt. I must say, the one I smoked has received more praise from neighbors and family members whom I have shared this recipe with.
