Instant Pot® Jazzed-Up Instant Ramen Noodle Soup Recipe

This delicious chicken ramen soup can be easily prepared in a multi-functional pressure cooker like an Instant Pot. A warm, comforting dish, it combines tender chicken, crisp vegetables, and flavorful ramen for a quick and tasty meal.
Ingredients
- 6 cups water
- 2 (3 ounce) packages chicken-flavored ramen noodles with seasoning packets
- cup chopped fresh asparagus
- cup chopped cooked chicken
- cup frozen peas
- 6 baby carrots, finely chopped
- 4 mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon chile-garlic sauce (such as Sriracha)
- 1 tablespoon chopped scallions
Directions
- Start by adding 6 cups of water into the pressure cooker. Then, toss in the ramen noodles along with the seasoning packets, chopped asparagus, cooked chicken, frozen peas, chopped baby carrots, sliced mushrooms, sesame oil, and chile-garlic sauce.
- Close and securely lock the lid of the pressure cooker. Set the cooker to high pressure and set the timer for 0 minutes. Allow approximately 10 to 15 minutes for the pressure to build up.
- Once the pressure is reached, carefully release it using the quick-release method according to the manufacturer's instructions. This should take about 3 minutes.
- Unlock the lid and carefully remove it. Ladle the soup into bowls and top with freshly chopped scallions.
Cook's Note
If you prefer a different flavor, this recipe works wonderfully with pork-flavored or shrimp-flavored ramen noodles. Simply swap out the chicken for leftover pork or shrimp for a tasty variation.
