I made this into an adult cocktail by adding a healthy jigger of Smirnoff Whipped Vodka. Very good.

I had to make this because it was different the typical hot chocolate recipe. I used some beligian milk chocolate from Trader Joe's and after it was melted and mixed, I frothed the hot chocolate with my espresso machine. I would make this again!

I used 4 squares of Lindt 95% cocoa chocolate. I also used 3/4 c milk & 1/4 c heavy whipping cream. & a dash of ground cinnamon. I used a battery operated stir which made it frothy. For sweetness, I used a few drops of liquid clear Stevia & a splash of Jordan’s Salted Caramel Skinny Syrup. Yumm!

So easy and so good! I used 4 of the Ghirardelli’s Peppermint Bark Squares (based on another review )since it was all I had. Crushed them to make it easier, added whipped cream and topped with crushed candy canes. I need more of this in my life!!

Rich and creamy. I used part dark and part milk chocolate bar. Topped with whipped cream. Tastes special and is easy to make in the microwave. Whisk frequently.

Well, this is a simple recipe, but a delicious one nonetheless. And, really, I wasn't even thinking of using a candy bar when I was looking for a hot chocolate recipe, so I thought it was a great idea. I used 3 fun sized Hershey bars to make it extra chocolately. Also, I just heated it up in the microwave to avoid washing more dishes. I just heated, stirred and repeated until hot. Topped with marshmallows. Perfect for a chilly Fall day :)

We received dark chocolate bars as a Christmas gift, and no one in our family liked them because they were very bitter. I found this recipe and chopped the bars up. I added milk chocolate chips and whisked with the milk as described. Wow! It was really easy and tasted rich and creamy.

I had no expectations for this recipe. I was greatly surprised! I used 2/3 of a whole Hershey bar and a cup of whole milk with the pinch of cinnamon. I loved it! This will be my Christmas beverage.

This is simple and delicious. The outcome is dependent on the quality of the two ingredients. The options are also limitless. I used 70% cacao once, and then used Mexican chocolate in another. Thank you for the recipe.

I tried this with a Milky Way bar, minus the cinnamon. It gave it a very malty flavor. It was delicious! Thanks for the recipe.
