Recipe for Mayonnaise Biscuits
Ingredients
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 cup milk
- 6 tablespoons mayonnaise
Directions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400F (200C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: In a large bowl, stir together the self-rising flour, milk, and mayonnaise until the ingredients are just blended. Be careful not to overmix.
Step 3: Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly. You should be able to make about 12 biscuits.
Step 4: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 12 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown on top.
Step 5: Remove from the oven and let the biscuits cool slightly before serving.
