Basmati Rice Recipe
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 cups water
- 1 cup basmati rice
- cup frozen green peas
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
Directions:
- In a saucepan, bring 1 cups of water to a boil.
- Add 1 cup of basmati rice to the boiling water and stir to combine.
- Reduce the heat, cover the saucepan, and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
- Once the rice is fully cooked, stir in cup of frozen green peas and 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds.
- Cover the saucepan again and let it stand for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
