Basmati Rice Recipe

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cups water
  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • cup frozen green peas
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

Directions:

  1. In a saucepan, bring 1 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add 1 cup of basmati rice to the boiling water and stir to combine.
  3. Reduce the heat, cover the saucepan, and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Once the rice is fully cooked, stir in cup of frozen green peas and 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds.
  5. Cover the saucepan again and let it stand for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
