Fresh Cranberry Salsa Recipe
This cranberry salsa offers a delicious blend of tart cranberries, refreshing cucumber, and a subtle kick from pickled jalapenos. Its perfect as a topping or as a side dish for your meals!
Ingredients
- 1 (12 ounce) bag fresh cranberries
- 6 tablespoons white sugar
- 2 tablespoons brandy-based orange liqueur (such as Grand Marnier)
- cucumber - peeled, seeded, and diced
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 4 slices pickled jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
Directions
Step 1: Begin by placing the cranberries into a food processor. Pulse until finely chopped, but be sure to leave some texture. Its important that the cranberries arent pureed completely.
Step 2: Transfer the chopped cranberries to a serving bowl.
Step 3: Stir in the white sugar, orange liqueur, diced cucumber, chopped celery, and finely chopped pickled jalapenos.
Step 4: Allow the mixture to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving. This resting time helps the flavors meld together perfectly.
