  • 1 (16 ounce) package ziti pasta
  • 24 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1 pound shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 (32-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
  • cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Follow these easy steps for a delicious pasta dish:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375F (190C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. While the oven is heating, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the ziti pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente. Drain and rinse the pasta.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the cooked ziti, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, beaten egg, and 1 cups of the spaghetti sauce.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with the remaining spaghetti sauce and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Once done, let it stand for 15 minutes before serving.
