Basic Sheet Pan Chicken Sausage and Roasted Cabbage Recipe

Ingredients
- Cooking spray
- 8 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 apple, sliced
- 1 white onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- teaspoon ground black pepper
- 8 links chicken sausage
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 425F (220C). Grease a rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, sliced apple, sliced onion, olive oil, vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together until the ingredients are well coated.
- Spread the cabbage mixture in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the mixture in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the cabbage is slightly tender.
- After 20 minutes, toss the cabbage mixture and place the sausages on top of the vegetables.
- Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for another 10 minutes, or until the sausages are crispy and the cabbage has caramelized.
