Cook Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
This recipe was developed at its original yield. Ingredient amounts are automatically adjusted, but cooking times and steps remain unchanged. Note that not all recipes scale perfectly.
- cup Kikkoman Stir-Fry Sauce
- 1 tablespoon dry sherry
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 pound ground pork
- cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- cup coarsely chopped cilantro leaves
- teaspoon sesame oil
- Iceberg lettuce leaves
Directions
- In a small bowl, combine the stir-fry sauce, dry sherry, and cornstarch. Stir until the cornstarch is fully dissolved and set the mixture aside.
- Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the ground pork, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Stir-fry the mixture until the pork is no longer pink and the onion is soft. Drain any excess fat from the pan.
- Pour the stir-fry sauce mixture into the wok with the cooked pork. Stir continuously until the pork is evenly coated with the sauce, and it thickens slightly.
- Remove the wok from heat and stir in the chopped cilantro and sesame oil. This adds a fresh, aromatic touch to the dish.
- To serve, spoon the desired amount of the pork mixture onto a lettuce leaf. Gently fold the leaf to enclose the filling, creating a wrap.
