Easy Chili and Lime Fish Street Tacos Recipe

- 2 tilapia fillets
- 3 tablespoons lime juice, divided
- 1 teaspoon salt
- teaspoon ground black pepper
- teaspoon chili powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 16 (5 inch) corn tortillas
- 2 cups tomatillo salsa
- 1 avocado
- cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
Directions
Step 1: Preheat the grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
Step 2: Rub the tilapia fillets with 2 tablespoons of lime juice and season with salt, black pepper, and chili powder.
Step 3: Brush both sides of each fillet with olive oil.
Step 4: Grill the tilapia on the preheated grill until the fish flakes easily with a fork, approximately 5 minutes per side.
Step 5: While the fish is grilling, heat the tortillas on an ungreased skillet over medium-high heat for 10 to 15 seconds. Flip them and heat for another 5 to 10 seconds.
Step 6: Fill the heated tortillas with the flaked tilapia.
Step 7: Top with tomatillo salsa, slices of avocado, and a dollop of sour cream.
Step 8: Garnish with fresh cilantro and drizzle with 1 tablespoon of lime juice.
