Grilled Hawaiians Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
- 8 slices of bread
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 8 slices of thinly sliced cooked ham
- 1 (8 ounce) can of crushed pineapple, drained
Directions
Step 1: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Spread butter onto one side of each slice of bread.
Step 2: Place up to 4 slices of bread, butter side down, in the skillet. Top each slice with one piece of Swiss cheese, two slices of ham, and about 2 tablespoons of drained crushed pineapple.
Step 3: Place the remaining slices of bread on top, butter side up. Once the bottom of the sandwich turns golden brown, flip the sandwiches over and cook until browned on the other side, about 1 minute.
Step 4: Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients if all four sandwiches dont fit in your skillet at once.
