Sweet Corn Skillet Recipe

Ingredients

  • 12 ears corn, husks and silk removed
  • 1 cups water
  • cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons salt

Directions

  1. Start by slicing the corn off the cob into a large skillet, leaving about one-third of the kernels still attached to the cob.
  2. Using the back of the knife, scrape the remaining juice and kernels into the skillet.
  3. Next, add the water, sugar, and salt to the skillet, stirring to combine.
  4. Cook the mixture over medium-high heat until the sugar has completely dissolved, which should take about 10 minutes.
  5. Once done, remove the skillet from the heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature before serving.
