Sweet Corn Skillet Recipe
Ingredients
- 12 ears corn, husks and silk removed
- 1 cups water
- cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons salt
Directions
- Start by slicing the corn off the cob into a large skillet, leaving about one-third of the kernels still attached to the cob.
- Using the back of the knife, scrape the remaining juice and kernels into the skillet.
- Next, add the water, sugar, and salt to the skillet, stirring to combine.
- Cook the mixture over medium-high heat until the sugar has completely dissolved, which should take about 10 minutes.
- Once done, remove the skillet from the heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature before serving.
