Grilled Yams Recipe

Ingredients

  • Olive oil-flavored cooking spray
  • 1 large yam, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch thick slices
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Directions

  1. Preheat the grill to high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  2. Coat the yam slices with cooking spray and season with salt.
  3. Arrange the yam slices on the grill grate crosswise to prevent them from falling through.
  4. Grill the slices for 10 to 12 minutes per side, until they are tender and glazed.
  5. Serve the grilled yam slices with a dollop of butter on top.
