Cajun Style Baked Sweet Potato Recipe

- 1 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- teaspoon black pepper
- teaspoon onion powder
- teaspoon dried thyme
- teaspoon dried rosemary
- teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 1 teaspoons olive oil
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375F (190C).
- In a small bowl, combine paprika, brown sugar, black pepper, onion powder, thyme, rosemary, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Slice the sweet potatoes in half lengthwise.
- Brush each sweet potato half with olive oil.
- Evenly rub the seasoning mix over the cut surface of each sweet potato half.
- Place the seasoned sweet potatoes on a baking sheet or in a shallow pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the sweet potatoes are tender.
