Pork Chops in Beer Recipe
Ingredients
This recipe was developed at its original yield. Ingredient amounts are automatically adjusted, but cooking times and steps remain unchanged. Note that not all recipes scale perfectly.
Original recipe (1X) yields 8 servings
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
- cup packed brown sugar
- 8 pork chops
Directions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350F (175C).
Step 2: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, and beer. Stir everything together until well mixed.
Step 3: Pour the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
Step 4: Place the pork chops over the ketchup mixture in the dish, making sure they are arranged evenly.
Step 5: Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145F (63C). If the pork chops begin to brown too quickly, you can cover them loosely with foil.
