Ingredients
- 1 cup light beer or dry white wine
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano (or to taste)
- 8 ounces Brie cheese
Directions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400F (200C).
Step 2: Pour the beer or wine into a glass baking dish that's large enough to fit the chicken breasts.
Step 3: Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and oregano on both sides. Then, place the chicken in the prepared baking dish.
Step 4: Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the juices run clear and the chicken is fully cooked.
Step 5: While the chicken is baking, slice the Brie cheese (with the rind on) into 1/4-inch thick slices.
Step 6: Once the chicken is done, remove the dish from the oven and arrange the Brie slices over the top of the chicken.
Step 7: Return the dish to the oven for another 3 to 5 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and is beautifully melted over the chicken.
Step 8: Serve and enjoy your creamy, cheesy chicken with Brie sauce!
