Beer and Brown Sugar Steak Marinade Recipe

Beer and Brown Sugar Steak Marinade Recipe

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 (16 ounce) beef sirloin steaks
  • cup dark beer
  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • teaspoon seasoned salt
  • teaspoon black pepper
  • teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

  1. Preheat your grill to high heat.
  2. Use a fork to poke holes all over the surface of the steaks, then place them in a large baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the dark beer, teriyaki sauce, and brown sugar. Pour this mixture over the steaks and let them marinate for about 5 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle half of the seasoned salt, black pepper, and garlic powder over the steaks. Set the steaks aside and let them marinate for 10 minutes.
  5. Turn the steaks over and sprinkle with the remaining seasoned salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Let them marinate for an additional 10 minutes.
  6. Remove the steaks from the marinade. Pour the marinade into a small saucepan, bring it to a boil, and cook for several minutes.
  7. Lightly oil the grill grate to prevent sticking.
  8. Grill the steaks for 7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  9. During the final few minutes of grilling, baste the steaks with the boiled marinade to enhance the flavor and maintain juiciness.
