Beer and Brown Sugar Steak Marinade Recipe
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
- 2 (16 ounce) beef sirloin steaks
- cup dark beer
- 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- teaspoon seasoned salt
- teaspoon black pepper
- teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
- Preheat your grill to high heat.
- Use a fork to poke holes all over the surface of the steaks, then place them in a large baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix together the dark beer, teriyaki sauce, and brown sugar. Pour this mixture over the steaks and let them marinate for about 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle half of the seasoned salt, black pepper, and garlic powder over the steaks. Set the steaks aside and let them marinate for 10 minutes.
- Turn the steaks over and sprinkle with the remaining seasoned salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Let them marinate for an additional 10 minutes.
- Remove the steaks from the marinade. Pour the marinade into a small saucepan, bring it to a boil, and cook for several minutes.
- Lightly oil the grill grate to prevent sticking.
- Grill the steaks for 7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- During the final few minutes of grilling, baste the steaks with the boiled marinade to enhance the flavor and maintain juiciness.
