Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried black beans
  • 3 cups water, or more as needed

  3. Step 3: After draining, transfer the soaked beans into a rice cooker. Add 3 cups of fresh water and set the cooker to the "Porridge" setting. If needed, add more water during cooking. Let the beans cook until tender, which should take around 2 hours. Drain the beans once more before serving.
