Air-Fried Frozen Salmon Recipe
Ingredients
This recipe was developed at its original yield. Ingredient amounts are automatically adjusted, but cooking times and steps remain unchanged. Note that not all recipes scale perfectly.
Original recipe (1X) yields 2 servings:
- Cooking spray
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- teaspoon kosher salt
- teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 (6 ounce) frozen salmon fillets
Directions
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 390F (190C). Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Step 2: In a small bowl, mix together Dijon mustard, honey, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, kosher salt, and ground black pepper.
Step 3: Place the frozen salmon fillets in the prepared air fryer basket, ensuring they are laid out evenly.
Step 4: Insert the basket into the preheated air fryer and cook for 5 minutes to allow the salmon to begin thawing and partially cook.
Step 5: After 5 minutes, remove the basket from the air fryer. Brush the Dijon mixture generously over the fillets.
Step 6: Return the basket to the air fryer and continue to cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Step 7: Once done, carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Cook's Note
You can line the bottom of the air fryer basket with foil or parchment paper instead of spraying with cooking spray if you prefer.
