Ingredients

This recipe is designed to yield 4 servings.

  • 1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans, undrained
  • 1 cup cooked pulled pork, chopped
  • cup barbecue sauce
  • red onion, chopped
  • cup water

Directions

Step 1: Combine the pinto beans, pulled pork, barbecue sauce, chopped onion, and water in a multi-functional pressure cooker, such as an Instant Pot.

Step 2: Close and lock the lid of the pressure cooker. Select the high-pressure setting based on the manufacturers instructions. Set the timer for 2 minutes.

Step 3: Allow 10 to 15 minutes for the pressure to build before the cooking process begins.

Step 4: After the cooking time is complete, carefully release the pressure using the quick-release method, following the manufacturers instructions. This should take about 5 minutes.

Step 5: Unlock and remove the lid of the pressure cooker. Stir the mixture to combine, and serve hot.
