Air Fryer Parmesan Tilapia Recipe
Cook Time: 6 minutes
Air Fryer Parmesan-Crusted Tilapia
Ingredients
- cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- teaspoon salt
- teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 4 (6 ounce) tilapia fillets, thawed if frozen
- Cooking spray
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley (optional)
- 4 lemon wedges (optional)
Directions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400F (200C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Lightly spritz both sides of the fillets with cooking spray.
- Press each fillet into the Parmesan mixture, ensuring both sides are well coated. Shake off any excess mixture, then spritz both sides of the fillets with cooking spray again.
- Place the coated fillets into the air fryer basket. Be sure not to overcrowd the basket; you may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook the fillets for 6 to 8 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. If needed, flip the fillets halfway through cooking.
- Once done, sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for a burst of flavor.
Cook's Note
