Vegetarian Bratwurst Sausage with Peppers and Onions
Ingredients:
- 2 links vegetarian bratwurst sausage (such as Beyond Meat), sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced into petals
- green bell pepper, sliced into thin strips
- red bell pepper, sliced into thin strips
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Directions:
- Preheat the air fryer to 350F (175C).
- In a large bowl, combine the vegetarian sausage slices, onion petals, bell peppers, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Stir everything to coat the ingredients evenly.
- Transfer the mixture into the air fryer basket, spreading it out in a single layer.
- Cook in the preheated air fryer for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
- After 10 minutes, shake the basket again and cook for an additional 5 minutes, ensuring the sausages reach an internal temperature of 165F (74C) when measured with an instant-read thermometer.
