Peanut Butter Sesame Noodles
Ingredients
- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 1 bunch green onions, sliced (white parts only)
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
- cup peanut butter
- cup soy sauce
- cup hot water
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Directions
Step 1: Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: While the pasta is cooking, heat the sesame oil in a small skillet over low heat. Add the green onions (white parts only) and saut until tender, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 3: Add the minced ginger to the skillet and stir. Continue to cook for another 1-2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Step 4: Stir in the peanut butter, soy sauce, hot water, cider vinegar, sugar, and crushed red pepper flakes. Mix until the sauce is smooth and heated through, then remove the skillet from the heat.
Step 5: Toss the drained pasta with the peanut sauce, ensuring the noodles are evenly coated.
