Crispy Baked Walleye Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon water
- cup dry bread crumbs
- cup instant mashed potato flakes
- cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 4 (4 ounce) fillets walleye
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 450F (230C). Grease a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs and water together until smooth, then set aside.
- In a separate bowl, combine the bread crumbs, potato flakes, Parmesan cheese, and seasoned salt. Stir until evenly mixed.
- Dip each walleye fillet into the beaten egg mixture, then press into the bread crumb mixture, coating the fillets evenly.
- Place the coated fillets onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the fillets in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the fish is opaque in the center and flakes easily with a fork.
Recipe Tip
You can also substitute tilapia or other white fish fillets for walleye.
