Quick Crispy Parmesan Chicken Breasts Recipe

Quick Crispy Parmesan Chicken Breasts Recipe

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • Cooking spray
  • cup panko bread crumbs
  • cup Parmesan cheese
  • teaspoon paprika
  • teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons white wine (Optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, pounded to an even thickness

Directions

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400F (200C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly spray it with cooking spray.

Step 2: In a shallow bowl, whisk together the panko bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Step 3: In another bowl, combine the melted butter, white wine (if using), Dijon mustard, and crushed garlic. Stir well to mix.

Step 4: Dip each chicken breast half into the melted butter mixture, ensuring it is evenly coated. Then press the chicken into the breadcrumb mixture, making sure it is fully covered.

Step 5: Place the breaded chicken breasts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Press any remaining breadcrumb mixture onto the chicken.

Step 6: Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the chicken is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165F (74C).

FANTASTIC! I made this tonight for my girls for dinner, and they absolutely LOVED it! The chicken had wonderful flavor and was so moist and tender. I did use the optional white wine and seasoned panko crumbs...This is a definite keeper~YUM, YUM, YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

I have made this several times now...I've added it to my regular rotation of favorite meals! It is so so good! Do not leave out the white wine. I usually double the recipe because I use Costco chicken breasts and they are pretty big. I slice the chicken in half to make it less thick, then I cut in half again so the pieces aren't huge. I bake on a rack so it's crispy on both sides. I pair with my creamy parmesan mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli and my family goes nuts! This is an absolutely delicious recipe, thank you for sharing!

Delicious definitely a keeper. who needs to fry. I did have panko crumbs so I substituted old Italian bread on the kitchenaide and mixed all of the dry ingredients as instructed. I also had no Dijon but had a Popeyes Madri gran mustard dipping sauce so I used that instead. had to add the wine duh! and followed the rest of the recipe. Sat back and enjoyed more wine. it was fantastic. so good I would make it for company served with green beans and some risotto, they will think you are a culinary genius.

Have to agree with other reviewers that a bit more butter mix and coating would be a good thing...I had just barely enough. I also turned on the broiler for a few minutes at the end to get them a bit browner.

Awesome recipe. I added an egg white to the butter/Dijon mix. The chicken breasts came out moist and tender. Also, the same recipe worked great with thick cut boneless pork chops.

Total hit with the whole family. I made the breasts into thin strips instead of hammering them flat, and then prepared the recipe as listed (double portions due to more surfaces) and used my air fryer. Same great taste as the original recipe, but made toddler friendly for my grandson.

High compliments from My husband when he said “This is the best chicken I have ever had!’ I cooked the last couple mins in the air fryer to crispy both sides. Amazing, Thank You!

Place them on a rack atop the cookie sheet ;-) nice crispy breading on both sides evenly then IMO

The family enjoyed it. I did omit the wine and put the chicken on a rack and turned it halfway.

Delicious! Only change I made was to use gluten-free panko bread crumbs, for the celiacs in the family. I don't know if that was the reason the coating didn't brown but I broiled the breasts for a few minutes at the end of the baking time to crisp it up.

Very easy and tasty!! Did not use wine but not sure that it would have improved the taste. I used my air fryer and flipped the breasts half way through the cooking time. Nice and crispy!!

Quick and easy! Delicious as is and flavorful. I pan fried it because we had something in the oven. Came out great. I subbed cooking sherry for white wine because that’s all we had. Family loved it.

It was delicious! I followed another reviewers suggestion and cut the chicken breast in half so that they were thinner. I double the recipe in order to have enough then to coat more pieces. I will be making this again.

I made it according to instructions. It wasn't so bad how they came out. Not like "out of this world" taste, but maybe it's because my chickens were too thick? Or probably had it in oven a little too long. I also didn't have white wine. Is it different from white wine vinegar? According to google, yes, so I didn't use it. I am going to try again more carefully! Thanks for recipe!

Always looking for different recipes for chicken breasts. This turned out tender, juicy and flavorful! Easy to make. Followed recipe, but cooked for 25-30 minutes. Will be making this one again!
