Wowie, this was amazing!! I completely left out the butter to make it healthier, and it was still just totally yummy. We also used half Miracle Whip (instead of mayo) and half regular mustard (we don't like dijon). This is so light and fresh and flavorful and I highly recommend it. YUM!

Outstanding recipe. I salted and seasoned with Trader Joe’s 12 spice blend the fish and let it sit in glass pan with the lemon juice on it for a couple of hours before cooking. Added the mixture last 3 minutes under broiler. My husband raved about it. Definitely will make again. I served it with shaved asparagus pan fried in sesame oil.

Huge hit for the entire family! I used tilapia, since that was freshest at my seafood market, made the Dijonaise heavy on the Dijon, substituted veganaise for mayo and didn’t add salt, but otherwise changed nothing. It was perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. I served it with spinach risotto and asparagus, which balanced the richness of the fish very well.

It was AMAZING!!!!!!! I just happened to have an orange infused olive oil so I oiled the pan with that! I didn't have mayo, but had miracle whip. Didn't have Dijon but had mustard. The only additional ingredient that I added was dill weed. My husband was amazed by the flavors!!! Keeping this one!!!! Thank you!!

Delicious! As others said, it makes more topping than you need so next time will make about a third less of the mixture. I used what I had on hand: shredded parm instead of grated, and I mixed mayo, brown and regular mustard together to taste instead of dijonaise. Followed cook times exactly and it was perfect.

Delicious! and very easy. 2 suggestions/comments - You don't need all this topping for 1 pound of fish, its way too much. The second time I made it I only made about a 1/4 of the topping for almost 1 pound of orange roughy and it was enough. Excellent flavor but you could still appreciate the fish. Also, I salt and peppered the fish before broiling it. Its a must try - perfect with some fresh broccoli or green beans

Very good, easy recipe, but I did alter a bit. I seasoned the fish with salt, pepper, and the lemon squeeze and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Also, I forgot to add mayonnaise and used straight dijon for that ingredient, then used garlic powder instead of garlic b/c I felt lazy. Stirred it up, it seemed lacking so added a splash of white wine. This turned out excellent, although next time I would half the butter because that was the only ingredient which seemed a bit overpowering.

I love fish but do not make it that often and this recipe was fast, east, and rediculously delish. Make sure it is 6in from broiler. I cooked for 5 minutes first, then did spread, and cooked about another 3 until top looked toasty. I added a sprinkle of plain Panko breadcrumbs for a little crunch.

Excellent flavours. I did a variation as I didn't want to use the broiler for just one serving. Dried the roughy filet, then dipped it in a beaten egg white. Made a breading of the Parmesan cheese and panko crumbs (about half and half) and added some granulated garlic, white pepper, and ground Aleppo chiles. Sautéed the breaded filet in a bit of olive oil, then brushed some Dijon mustard on top. Delicious! The mustard was not at all overwhelming to the fish and worked well with Parmesan and garlic crust. The Aleppo chiles add a bit of fruity depth with mild heat.

Although i don’t like to change recipes on the first try,i made a couple healthy adjustments. First i used 3Tbl of evoo instead of butter. Second i used Greek yogurt in place of mayo. Boy did this turn out delicious!

Wonderful dish, we’d never tried orange roughy before and having a fairly picky husband when it comes to fish, I can say with confidence this was a win. I followed the recipe as stated except that I added capers to the dijonaise mixture and the zested the lemon rind into it as well, and then after spreading it onto the fish, topped that with seasoned panko. Hubs wants to keep it in the rotation!

I'm not a huge fan of fish but this was pretty good. Maybe a little too much mustardy taste, maybe I used too much lemon. I'll try again and tweak it though,

I agree with others; the sauce really belongs with a stronger tasting fish such as salmon. It was good though, and again, like others I used less and made less. Excellent recipe. First time with Orange Roughy; Looks more like alabaster Roughy.

I thought it was everything and that. I could not find my dijon mustard and I used Ken's Honey mustard dipping sauce and well I will be buying orange roughy like today. A very good recipe.
