I preheated the oven to 450 degrees and placed 2/3 of the butter in the pan lined with aluminum foil. I spread the butter evenly with a spoon, then placed the fish fillets down. I poured the remaining butter over the fillets, seasoned them with Chef Paul's Blackened Redfish Magic and black pepper. I cooked them for 10 minutes and they turned out flaky and moist.

Here is the rewritten review: Following the instructions, I added a few onion slices and found the dish to be just as described: quick, simple, and fantastic in every way. The basil flavor wasn't very noticeable, so I may increase that next time and perhaps try adding a tomato slice or two. I plan to make this dish with halibut next. Thank you!

The basil and Lemon Pepper didn't complement the Walleye very well. While I appreciate the idea of a simple recipe, using just salt and pepper would have been a better choice than this particular combination.

Super easy and super delicious! Thank you! I will definitely be making this again, especially during the winter months when grilling is out of the question!

Very simple!! However... I'm not a big fan of butter but I followed the instructions. Next time I'll use chicken broth and butter. Still, it was extremely easy to make!! :)

The dish was fast to prepare and simple, however, the pairing of Basil and Lemon Pepper failed to enhance the inherent taste of Walleye.

I was in a rush and this recipe was perfect! I give it 5 stars for its simplicity and 5 stars for the delicious flavor with just a few ingredients. It was perfect as written, although I didn't cut my filets. I baked them for about 9 minutes and they turned out perfectly moist! Definitely worth trying. Thank you for sharing the recipe!
