Ingredients

  • 1 (6 ounce) fat-free Greek yogurt (such as Fage)
  • cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 3 tablespoons dry Italian-seasoned bread crumbs (Optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F (200C). Lightly coat a baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, Parmesan cheese, seasoned salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a single layer in the prepared baking pan.
  4. Spread the Greek yogurt mixture evenly over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. If desired, sprinkle dry Italian-seasoned bread crumbs on top for an extra crunch.
  6. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes, or until the chicken is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear.
  7. For thin-sliced chicken breasts or tenders, reduce baking time to about 20 minutes.
