Review rephrased: The Cole Slaw is absolutely delicious. My family and I prefer our slaw without bell peppers and onions, so I omitted them and it still turned out fantastic. I picked up a great tip from a chef on a popular food network—by sprinkling a little salt over the cabbage in a colander, you can remove the excess water from the veggies. This method takes around 30 minutes to an hour, but it results in a wonderfully crisp cabbage and ensures the slaw isn't watery.

Delicious! I had some red apples in the fridge. Instead of using 1/4 cup of brown sugar, I substituted some honey. I also sliced my apples and soaked them in lemon juice to prevent browning while preparing the rest of the dish. The result was incredibly tasty!

Absolutely addictive! I reduced the amount of sweetness and opted to use honey instead of sugar, which elevated the flavors of this already fantastic recipe. I must say, it's best enjoyed fresh as the flavors tend to mellow and blend into the veggies after the first day, losing that irresistible tangy sweetness that makes you want to devour a whole bowl of it.

I enhanced the dish by incorporating a touch of vinegar, a Fuji apple, and a carrot, simply using what I had on hand. The result was outstanding! I appreciate the recipe provided.

Delicious, crispy, and a breeze to whip up. I incorporated the slaw in my pulled pork sandwiches, which were prepared with a blend of brown sugar BBQ sauce and traditional BBQ sauce. I assembled the pork and slaw between slider rolls, accompanied by a delectable spread of sweet crunchy corn fritters, garlic pickles, garlic green beans, and a refreshing tomato cucumber salad. I opted for standard size sesame brioche rolls, toasted to perfection. For dessert, we enjoyed a refreshing fruit salad topped with a dollop of whipped cream on the side.

I used pre-shredded store-bought coleslaw mix with carrots and added chopped apples to it. I also finely chopped red pepper and green onions, mixing them into the dressing. The result was delicious! I might add an extra apple next time just because it was so yummy :) Made it a second time and added a third apple and some craisins - double yum! I skipped the green pepper both times.
