Here is the rewritten review: As there were only two of us, I scaled down this recipe and made a few modifications, making it a bit challenging to give a definitive rating. One downside I must mention is that using 2 pounds of cheese seems excessive if you're mindful of your calorie and sodium intake. However, if you use your own leftover homemade chili, like I did, you can reduce some of the sodium. I opted for venison instead of beef in my chili, making it a bit leaner. I enjoyed the addition of olives, which was a new twist for me in a Frito pie. The dish was tasty, but I suggest keeping your portions small for a balanced meal.

I followed the recipe to the letter, eagerly anticipating the outcome - after all, who doesn't love Fritos and cheese? Unfortunately, it turned out to be a major letdown, and I have no intentions of making it again. The Fritos ended up tough and chewy, leaving me perplexed by the numerous 5-star ratings. Perhaps altering the layering could improve it, but I'm not willing to risk wasting another bag of chips to find out.
