Sloppy Tots Recipe

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen bite-size potato nuggets (such as Tater Tots)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (15.5 ounce) can sloppy joe sauce
  • cup shredded Cheddar cheese, or as desired

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425F (220C).
  2. Arrange the potato nuggets in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 24 minutes, or until the nuggets are light golden and crisp.
  4. While the potato nuggets are baking, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook, stirring often, for 5 to 7 minutes until browned and crumbly. Drain the excess grease.
  6. Pour in the sloppy joe sauce and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, until heated through.
  7. Once the potato nuggets are done, arrange them on a plate. Top with the sloppy joe sauce and sprinkle with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Simple and delicious! I used 1.5 lbs of meat and broiled it for a few minutes to melt the cheese.

I absolutely love this recipe, it was so easy to make! The only change I made was adding a dollop of sour cream. It turned out so delicious! Emoji heart eyes x4.

I was under the impression that these were all air fryer recipes. I recently purchased an air fryer for my husband, so that's what brought me here. Unfortunately, I didn't come across any air fryer recipes, which left me feeling a bit disappointed. Nonetheless, I appreciate the recipe and plan to give it a try. I was really hoping to find some air fryer recipes, though.

My family absolutely adored this recipe! We will definitely be making it again. Thank you for sharing. It was so simple to make! The only extra touch we added was a drizzle of ketchup on top.
